Early morning shadow of the tree I'm standing under leads right to the door. I love the using long shadows early or late in the day.

Pinkham Notch
This is my last night at the Joe Dodge Lodge at Pinkham Notch. I've enjoyed it immensely. The room is all wood giving it a cabin feel. Breakfast and dinner are served family style and are always wonderful. Today I had the opportunity to hike in a pair of Lowe boots. The tread on them more like tires, they grip the rocks much better than my Illinois boots. The top shot was a sunrise shot. The weather has been unbelievable. Sunny and warm for the most part. The high today only in the 70's. We had a great rain shower about 4:00.
I had to cross this to get on my trail today so I grabbed my water camera and got down low to get this angle.
