Gorgeous Evening just after the Magic Hour

A great blue heron landed in the tops of the trees behind my home last night which prompted me to get my 500mm lens on my camera so that I could try to capture him. Of course, to get a better shot I opened my sliding glass door and off he went. So I stood, in awe of the colors, the magical night, and took these of my new young trees. Wilma, the willow tree in the southwest corner of our lot and Ezekiel, the Zekova, purposely planted adjacent to my deck so that I could enjoy the birds he gives shelter.

For in the true nature of things, if we rightly consider, every green tree is far more glorious than if it were made of gold and silver. ~Martin Luther
