Wells Beach~ Maine
After a wonderful day in Bennington Vermont, named after a long distant relative, Benning Wentworth, Scott and I headed to meet up with the family at Wells Beach. I was able to walk the beach twice in the early morning hours... such a treat! Saturday morning a giant full blue moon set to the west just before the sun came up... gorgeous.. can't believe how lucky I am!
Where we stayed with my brother and his wife, the full moon caused a huge shift in the high tide allowing the waves to crash just below our open window. This is from low tide.
42 Oxcart Lane, the tallest blue house here, where my family had a house for the week.

Hiking in Vermont
My brother Jim and his wife Tracy planned a wonderful hike in through the heart of Vermont. We started at Kelly Stand Road and hiked up to Stratton Pond to spend our first night. We then continued our hike up to a lookout point above Manchester and then finished our day where we had left the car at Vast parking area. It was an incredible three day hike. I spent some time walking quietly through the woods, and this is what I captured. I love how my little fuji camera would fog up from my sweaty shorts to create a fog feel.
Chuck, my walking stick :) Great companion on the trail. I left him here for the next hiker in need.

Seaview Cemetery~ Maine
We were given the assignment to look for life in the cemetery. It was a pretty easy assignment since plants loomed everywhere. I decided to try to capture more of a mood.
Impressionistic
These photos were from a shoot I did one afternoon using the plastic sheeting they used to surround our lunch area at Maine Media.
Doug's Photo Shoot
I took these shots as the professional photographer captured Douglas Beasley, our photography mentor, with an old 8 x 10 camera. I loved the lighting here in this big barn like shed with the concrete wall behind him.
More Paul Influence~ Inverting
The laundry shot was from the day spent at Vinal Haven while the two below it were also from that morning at Rockport Harbor. Another piece I took from our encounter with Paul was that he sometimes inverted his photos. These are in honor of him :)
